Steps to Change Your Name in Illinois:

1. Go to illinois.tylertech.cloud/SRL
2. Click "START A FILING"
3. Click "ADULT NAME CHANGE - CREATE FORMS"
4. Select "START"
5. Follow the website's instructions to complete your introductory paperwork.
6. Get in touch with Rainbow Cafe LGBTQ Center AFTER you've completed steps #1 through 5! We'll review your paperwork, case, and answer questions you may have!

Steps to Change Your Gender Marker in Illinois:

1. Start at illinoislegalaid.org
2. Click "RESOURCES"
3. Choose "I AM A MEMBER OF THE LGBTQIA+ COMMUNITY" and scroll down.
4. Locate "CAN I CHANGE MY GENDER...?"
5. Follow the website's instructions for steps on various documents.
