Rainbow Cafe's computer lab is a free service to our community! Make sure to read our Rights and Responsibilities before using our computers.

Log off and don't save personal information. Keep our computers clutter-free by logging out of any and all accounts. Don't save passwords, usernames, or other information onto our computers! Rainbow Cafe cannot be held responsible for the protection of your data or account when you leave a computer logged in with your account.

No food or drink! We want to keep our computers physically clean and safe. Please keep food and drinks away from the lab, and instead use our reception lobby for snacking.

Practice safe internet etiquette. Keep your internet browsing PG-13, please.
Computer activities shouldn't disturb other users.Your computer usage shouldn't disturb other users and people at Rainbow Cafe. This includes, but is not limited to, rough-housing, loud music, etc.

Ask staff before printing.This includes black and white and color prints. Do not display or print sexually explicit graphics.

Share the computers and space! Each person may only use one computer at a time. While there aren't time limits on computer use, remember to share computers and log off if there's people waiting behind you.

Computers, peripherals, and software is not to be moved, reconfigured, or installed without approval from staff. Always ask before plugging and unplugging computer towers, monitors, speakers, and other hardware. Check with staff before installing new software and programs.

Don't change computer settings. If there's something you need changed, let a staff person know! But don't change settings, backgrounds, or themes without getting a staff person's approval first.

Keep files organized! To keep our computers from getting cluttered and slow, make sure to delete and get rid of documents, photos, videos, and other files when they're no longer needed.

Remember that our lab is a privilege. We want to keep this resource available for everyone! But if you're unable to follow these rules, we may have to limit or restrict lab access.

What can I do in the cyber center?

A lot! You have access to our game collection via Steam, Minecraft, Roblox, and the internet from any of our computers in the Cyber Center. We only ask that you give priority to users that need computers for school work, job applications, and other things over gaming sessions.

Are there any rules I need to follow?

In order to keep the Cyber Center available for public use, users agree to the above rules listed on this page in order to use Rainbow Cafe's equipment. Failure to follow the rules outlined here may result in limited or revoked Cyber Center access.
