Scholarship recipient must be available to accept their scholarship funds on Saturday, November 8 at the Rainbow Cafe 25th Anniversary Gala. The recipient will receive three complimentary tickets.

Eligibility Criteria
|
1. Applicant openly identifies as LGBTQIA+.
2. Applicant has contributed to the Southern Illinois LGBTQIA+ community in some way, i.e. participating in community events, volunteering, etc. 3. Applicant resides in Southern Illinois. This includes the following counties: Alexander, Edwards, Franklin, Gallatin, Hamilton, Hardin, Jackson, Jefferson, Johnson, Massac, Perry, Pope, Pulaski, Randolph, Saline, Union, Wabash, Washington, Wayne, White, and Williamson. 4. Must be enrolled in an accredited United States college or university for either the 2024-2025 or 2025-2026 school year. Students enrolled in community college, graduate school programs, and 2- and 4-year programs are eligible. 5. Applicant can be documented or undocumented. 6. Applicant is not Rainbow Cafe staff, a Board member, or related to a Rainbow Cafe staff or Board member. 7. Applicant demonstrates financial need. 8. Recipient is available to accept their scholarship funds on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at the Rainbow Cafe Gala. (Recipient will receive three complimentary tickets).
